Wizzo was a cartoon clown "straight from the vault at Cartoon Network" shown as a short on Cartoon Network in the late nineties. He was promoted as "the very first cartoon" (i.e. the first animated cartoon). Wizzo claimed he was from "back when cartoons were the real thing". They would jump out of an ink well or some hand would draw them on, then they would move around a little (not a lot). Just enough for the audience to "ooh and ahh". And they did not talk (for crying out loud). He would then complain about Johnny Bravo and Cow and Chicken and bright colors, claiming they did just fine without them and that in the old days they were only on for eighty minutes (that was enough). He then claims that no one wants a network that plays them all the time. As an alternative, he jumps into his ink well, coming out as an old-timey cartoon (his original self, as opposed to his crotchety current self). He does his little dance and is immediately pelted with tomatoes, him claiming they do not know what they are missing. Wizzo featured a Brooklyn accent. His original self is a clown, a parody of Koko the Clown from the Betty Boop cartoons.
