The Big Game: A Look Back was a documentary special of The Big Game, that aired on January 30, 2000.
Hosted by sports anchor Jim Huber, the special featured the fictional history of cartoon sports and the Big Game.
Notes[]
- According to this special, Bugs Bunny is stated to have battled Elmer Fudd in the WB League in 1910, and battled Yosemite Sam in the league's championship game in 1919. This is of course impossible, because neither character was created until at least 1939.
- The special's end credits include a dedication to Touché Turtle from The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series, listing a death date of 1999. This implies that Touché died (likely having been killed by the Dip from Who Framed Roger Rabbit) in 1999. However, he would reappear alive and well in Jellystone! twenty years later, likely suggesting that he was resurrected in the interim.
