Punkin' Puss & Mushmouse is an American animated cartoon series produced by Hanna-Barbera that aired as a segment on The Magilla Gorilla Show from January 14, 1964 to December 25, 1965.

Punkin' Puss & Mushmouse follows the comical misadventures of a hillbilly cat named Punkin' Puss (voiced by Allan Melvin) who lives in a house in the woods in the Deep South and a mouse named Mushmouse (voiced by Howard Morris) who takes up residence in a whole in his wall. The show could easily be summed up as Hanna-Barbera's southern-style approach to Tom and Jerry, a series created by Hanna-Barbera Studios founders William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.

The cat and mouse pair would often find themselves in awkward situations or just engage in the classic cat and mouse chase. The Punkin' Puss & Mushmouse shorts were situated at the end of "The Magilla Gorilla Show" after Ricochet Rabbit & Droop-a-long.
