Longhair and Doubledome: Good Wheel Hunting was a short created by Gavrilo Gnatovich and produced by Knock-Knock Cartoons for the Cartoon Network. The short premiered on Cartoon Cartoon Fridays on July 28, 2000 as one of ten contenders for Cartoon Network's Big Pick, the winner of which would become the next Cartoon Cartoon. The short did not win The Big Pick, and was not picked up by Cartoon Network to become a full-length series. However, another Longhair and Doubledome short "Longhair and Doubledome: Where There's Smoke...There's Bob" was produced in 2002.
Plot[]
This cartoon follows two philosophical cavemen: Doubledome, a jolly but dimwitted caveman (though still observant and adaptive when need be) and Longhair, a rather smart caveman with a snarky, gruff and somewhat pompous demeanor, as they attempt to devise a plan that will help them obtain fruit from a tree that sits atop a high cliff.

- In March 2017, Gavrilo Gnatovich made a Kickstarter for a Longhair and Doubledome graphic novel titled The Dawn of Longhair and Doubledome. Unlike the previous Kickstarter; this one was more successful as it managed to make it to its $9,200 goal. The release date for the graphic novel is currently indefinite due to multiple factors such as COVID-19.[2][3][4] Gnatovich announced he would complete the graphic novel by 2023.[5][6] However, it was delayed.[7] In July 2024, Gnatovich announced the graphic novel was nearly finished and was planned be completed by that year.[8] However, it was delayed again to 2025.[9][10] In January 2025, Gnatovich announced the graphic novel will be 200 pages long.[11] In March 2025, it was announced the graphic novel would be finished by May 2025, but it was postponed to late 2025.[12] As of September 18, 2025, Gnatovich is looking for a publisher.[13] In October 2025, it was announced the graphic novel was postponed to 2026.[14]
