Iyanu is an American animated superhero epic television series based on the graphic novel series by Roye Okupe. The series premiered in the United States on Cartoon Network on April 5, 2025[1][2][3][4] and one day later on Max.[5]
On May 19, 2025, the show was renewed for a second season, which will premiere in 2026, and two TV film spin-offs, in which the fist one will be titled The Age of Wonders, which will premiere this year and the second film will premiere in 2026.[6][7]
Plot[]
The series follows a teenage heroine who must uncover the mystery behind her newfound powers to save her people from an ancient curse threatening to destroy humanity.
