Craig of the Creek is an American animated television series created by Level Up and Steven Universe's Matt Burnett and Ben Levin. The series premiered on March 30, 2018, in the United States. It was renewed for a second, third, and fourth season on August 15, 2018, July 15, 2019 and February 17, 2021 respectively.
On January 19, 2022, a fifth season was announced alongside the announcement of a television film, both to premiere in 2023. Season 5 premiered on July 10, 2023.
As no announcements have been made since 2022, it is currently unknown if production will go beyond the fifth season, and/or after the movie. It is suggested Season 5 is the last one, as it features a serialized narrative.
Plot[]
Craig and his two best friends Kelsey and J.P. have adventures in the Creek, a kid utopia of child-dominated untamed wilderness where tribes of children reign over tree forts and dirt bike ramps. The Creek is located in a fictional town called Herkleton, located in Maryland.

Appearances in other media[]
Kelsey and Mortimor made a cameo appearance as stone in the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode, "Crossover Nexus". OK K.O.! creator Ian Jones Quartey confirmed that Kelsey was originally planned to be one of the protagonists in the crossover, but this was later scrapped due to the fact that they had the crossover in development before Craig of the Creek premiered. A Craig of the Creek poster was also seen. Kid Jammer, from the episode "Power Punchers", made a cameo appearance in the series finale, "Thank You for Watching the Show", where he was running away from Robbie the robot.
Mortimor is available as a hat in the mobile game Kleptocats: Cartoon Network.
Craig appeared as a playable character in Cartoon Network: Plasma Pop for iOS and Android. He also appears in the Adult Swim short "Come and Learn with Pibby!" as one of the characters infected by the glitch.
The series was acknowledged in Cartoon Network’s 30th Anniversary video in October 2022.
