Craig of the Creek is an American animated television series created by Level Up and Steven Universe's Matt Burnett and Ben Levin. The series premiered on March 30, 2018, in the United States. It was renewed for a second, third, and fourth season on August 15, 2018, July 15, 2019 and February 17, 2021 respectively.
On January 19, 2022, a fifth season was announced alongside the announcement of a television film, both to premiere in 2023. Season 5 premiered on July 10, 2023.
As no announcements had been made since 2022, it was unknown if production would go beyond the fifth season, and/or after the movie. Season 5, which features a serialized storyline, was supposedly consisting of 20 episodes originally, but it seems to have split its second half on a sixth and final season.
Season 6 premiered on June 1, 2024.
Plot[]
Craig and his two best friends Kelsey and J.P. have adventures in the Creek, a kid utopia of child-dominated untamed wilderness where tribes of children reign over tree forts and dirt bike ramps. The Creek is located in a fictional town called Herkleton, located in Maryland.

Appearances in other media[]
In other works[]
Kelsey and Mortimor made a cameo appearance as stone in the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode, "Crossover Nexus". OK K.O.! creator Ian Jones Quartey confirmed that Kelsey was originally planned to be one of the protagonists in the crossover, but this was later scrapped due to the fact that they had the crossover in development before Craig of the Creek premiered. A Craig of the Creek poster was also seen. Kid Jammer, from the episode "Power Punchers", made a cameo appearance in the series finale, "Thank You for Watching the Show", where he was running away from Robbie the robot.
Craig made a cameo in the Adult Swim pilot, Come and Learn with Pibby, as one of the characters affected by the glitch.
Craig, Kelsey, and JP made silent appearances in the Teen Titans Go! double length special, Warner Bros. 100th Anniversary.
Video games[]
Craig appeared as a boardwalk customer in the 1.2.0. update of Cartoon Network: Match Land.
Mortimer appeared as wardrobe in KleptoCats: Cartoon Network.
Craig was a playable character in the 2019 mobile game, Cartoon Network: Plasma Pop.

The first three seasons and the first twenty-five episodes of the fourth season are available on the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max.
The four seasons were released on Max on May 23, 2023 and on Disney+ (as part of the Hulu merge) on December 6, 2023.
The full sixth season, including the final episodes, accidentally leaked on Disney+ and Hulu almost two months before their Cartoon Network premiere on August 1, 2024, making this a very ironic stance of a Cartoon Network show premiering episodes first on a Disney-owned platform.
