Close Enough is an American animated sitcom created by J. G. Quintel for HBO Max. The show was originally created for TBS in 2017, but was shelved. The show resumed progress about three years later, where it was released exclusively on HBO Max on July 9, 2020. Quintel previously created Regular Show for Cartoon Network. In August 2020, a second season was confirmed to launch on the platform on February 25, 2021.[1]
On February 10, 2021, the series was renewed for a third season, which premiered on April 7, 2022.[2][3]
The series aired on TBS on October 25, 2021.[4][5]
On July 15, 2022, the series was cancelled after three seasons, despite the good viewership.[6] While no reason was given for it, it likely was a result of the Warner Bros-Discovery merger, as a month later on August 19, 2022, the show was removed from HBO Max.
Plot[]
The series revolves around a millennial couple, their five-year-old daughter, and their divorced friends who live with them in a Los Angeles duplex.
