The Chowder Bowl was a 7-hour marathon that aired on Cartoon Network on Sunday, February 1, 2009, the day of the NFL Super Bowl of that year. The marathon aired from 12:00 - 7:00 PM and featured episodes of the Cartoon Network original series Chowder. The bumpers and interstitials used during the marathon featured a live-action actor, named the "cheferee", acting as a referee after scenes of the series are shown with faux football color commentating added.
