Apple & Onion is an American animated television series based on the short of the same name created by The Amazing World of Gumball's George Gendi. The series premiered on February 23, 2018 in the United States.
The second and final season began on July 21, 2020. It was confirmed to be the series' last by Gendi on February 11, 2022, with the finale aired on December 7, 2021.
Plot
Two lovable buddies are new and naive to the ways of the "big city of sophisticated food" as they go on adventures and make friends.

Shorts began online prior to the series premiere on February 11, 2018 with "Lift". The last short was released on April 7, 2018 titled "Goodbye".
Season 1
Season 1 premiered on February 23, 2018 with "A New Life" and "The Perfect Team" and ended two years later on April 11, 2020 with the episode "Election Day".
Season 2
Season 2 premiered on July 21, 2020 with "Falafel's Passion" and ended one year later on December 7, 2021 with the episodes "World Cup" and "Win It or Bin It".
Appearances in other media
- Apple made a cameo in the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode, Crossover Nexus, where he was behind Valentino from Victor and Valentino.
- The series was acknowledged in the Cartoon Network 30th Anniversary video in October 2022.
Trivia
- It is the first Cartoon Network Studios production to show the CN logo on top of the series logo. Later the next productions will show the CN logo on top of the series logo.
