Action Flicks is a former Cartoon Network movie block that replaced Toonami in 2008. The block featured premieres and reairings of action oriented films. Action Flicks, along with Adult Swim and Toonami, are mainly the only blocks where CN has ever aired TV-14 programming.
The block premiered on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 (two weeks after Toonami ended), and ended on Saturday, February 28th, 2009. The block was then replaced by Total Drama Island and 6Teen reruns for a couple of weeks.
