Acme Hour (known as Acme Radio Hour from 1995-1997) is a former hour long Cartoon Network programming block that aired from 1995 to 2003. The block featured a compilation of various Warner Bros., MGM, and Walter Lantz cartoons including Looney Tunes, Popeye the Sailor, Tom and Jerry, and The Tex Avery Show.
The block aired for an hour (as per its title) on weekdays. However, on Saturdays, it would air late at night for two hours, often airing cartoons that would never be broadcast in the daytime due to content. The block was originally named Acme Radio Hour when it premiered in 1995, but was changed to Acme Hour in October 1997. This was ended the Acme Hour by May 9, 2003.
Starting in 2005, Boomerang began airing Acme Hour every day but it has since been removed from the schedule.
