2007 was a turning point for the network. Stuart Snyder took over as the President of the network, replacing Jim Samples due to the controversial Boston bomb scare. Live-action show Out of Jimmy's Head began airing, but production was cut short due to the notorious Writers Guide Strike. The network rebranded from CN City and Yes! bumpers to Summer 2007, followed by the Fall era. The popular series Chowder premiered.
