Hi everyone. JIMBOYKELLY here. Now a few months ago, a thread was posted asking how we should fix Cartoon Network. However, I have come up with the ultimate plan to fix Cartoon Network's terrible schedule. Here it goes.

The first thing I want to talk about is Boomerang. Boomerang used to broadcast countless old cartoons when it first launched. However, as of recently, the only classic cartoons being shown on Boomerang are Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry. Below is a list of programs currently running on Boomerang. Asterisks (*) indicate that the show is still producing new episodes.

- Sonic Boom*
- Grizzy and the Lemmings
- My Knight and Me*
- The Powerpuff Girls 2016*
- Uncle Grandpa
- OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes*
- Tom & Jerry
- Looney Tunes
- Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
- Tom & Jerry Tales
- The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries
- Shaun the Sheep
- Peanuts

That's a total of 13 shows. That would work for a half-time channel like Cartoon Network, but not so much for Boomerang. But more importantly, WHY ARE THEY AIRING OK KO?! That show literally just premiered two weeks ago. Also, The Powerpuff Girls 2016? Why aren't they airing the original Powerpuff Girls? Anyway, let's see how many shows are airing on Cartoon Network. Asterisks (*) indicate that the show has ended.

- Adventure Time
- Regular Show*
- The Amazing World of Gumball
- Uncle Grandpa*
- Steven Universe
- Clarence
- We Bare Bears
- The Powerpuff Girls 2016
- Mighty Magiswords
- Ben 10 2017
- OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes
- Teen Titans*
- Tom & Jerry Tales*
- Total Drama
- Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu
- Teen Titans Go!
- Transformers: Robots in Disguise
- Supernoobs
- Lego Nexo Knights
- Justice League Action
- Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: The Series

That's a total of 21 shows. However, it probably doesn't look like that because Cartoon Network hardly plays any of these shows. But the fact that a Cartoon Network has more shows than Boomerang and that only 2 shows on Boomerang are classic cartoons proves that Boomerang is too broken to be fixed. Now you may be asking: If this thread is about fixing Cartoon Network, why is Boomerang being mentioned so much? This is why. I think the best way to fix Boomerang is to shut it down. Now you may be asking what that means. I mean that Boomerang is no longer capable of surviving on it's own. It should instead become a block on Cartoon Network.

But when should this block air? Well, let's take a look at my original idea on how to fix CN. My idea was to divide their schedule into sections, with one of them being a section dedicated to classic cartoons, such as Dexter's Lab, The Powerpuff Girls (original), Johnny Bravo, Chowder, Flapjack, and Foster's. I think this should be the Boomerang block.

But now you may be asking what will go in the Boomerang TV channel's spot? Well, this is something I wanted to happen for a while. Adult Swim should split from Cartoon Network and take Boomerang's place. That way, Cartoon Network will get the primetime hour back. But what will they do with all those extra hours? Well I've updated my schedule sections with what I think they should do.

6am - 8am (Monday - Friday): Shows like Teen Titans Go, The Powerpuff Girls 2016, The Amazing World of Gumball, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs air so younger kids can watch them while their getting ready for school (high school starts much earlier than elementary school, so high school kids don't really have time to watch TV when they're getting ready).

6am - 8am (Saturday - Sunday): All the action shows like Lego Nexo Knights, Justice League Action, Ninjago, and Transformers get new episodes.

8am - 3pm (Monday - Friday): Cartoon Network should have a Boomerang block for people in their 20s/30s who already graduated from high school, and want to watch some cartoons they grew up with, such as Dexter's Lab, The Powerpuff Girls (original), Johnny Bravo, Chowder, Flapjack, and Foster's.

8am - 5pm (Saturday - Sunday): Teen Titans Go, The Powerpuff Girls 2016, The Amazing World of Gumball, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Clarence, We Bare Bears, Mighty Magiswords, and Ben 10 air for younger kids.

3pm - 5pm (Monday - Friday): Shows like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Regular Show, and Total Drama air for middle school/high school kids (they usually get out earlier than elementary school kids).

5pm - 7pm (Monday - Friday): Shows like Teen Titans Go, The Powerpuff Girls 2016, The Amazing World of Gumball, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs air for younger kids.

5pm - 7pm (Saturday - Sunday): Shows like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Regular Show, and Total Drama air for teens.

7pm - 9pm (Friday): New episode block.

7pm - 9pm (Saturday - Thursday): A movie airs.

9pm - 6am (Daily): Boomerang block.

Well, do you think this will fix Cartoon Network? Leave your thoughts on this in the comments.
