I remember that Checkered Past has been airing Season 6 of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy recently in 16:9. However, only some episodes have aired in 16:9, some episodes actually aired cropped to fullscreen on June 2024.

The following episodes are:

-Nergal's Pizza/Hey! Water You Doing?

-Company Halt/Anger Mismanagement

-The Greatest Love Story Ever Told/Detention X

-Dracula Must Die!/Short Tall Tales

Once the series returns to the block again sometime in the future, I bet they will be shown cropped to 4:3 again.

Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. both still have something against showing Season 6 of the series entirely in widescreen for some reason.

In this current era, Cartoon Network has not given another home media release to Billy and Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure (aside from its DVD release in 2007, the year of its original release), the reason for that is due to music licensing issues, which not only explains the movie not being on iTunes or Amazon Prime but as well as it not being on HBO Max either (but it was at least on the service in Latin America/Brazil). However, CN has at least made social media posts featuring footage of the movie:

-30th Anniversary montage

-M4ndy fake trailer

-Fred FredBurger social media post

So yeah, CN made a smart move preserving a little bit of one of the two long lost Billy and Mandy TV movies, the other one being Underfist: Halloween Bash (in fact, maybe they can give Big Boogey Adventure the YouTube livestream treatment just like what they did to Underfist itself on last year's October).
