Produced by Renegade Animation and Cartoon Network Studios, the series stars fictionalized and animated versions of the Japanese pop rock group Puffy AmiYumi. The film serves as a prequel to the series, and tells the origin story of how the Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi were created and came to be the Tokyo Japan.
