<p>I would like to hear your thoughts on this; free to jump into the discussion!
</p><p>I am confused on what this Wiki is. We have a ton of incomplete pages, whether they are for episodes, shows or even voice actors. 20 percent of the Wiki is just stubs or articles with three sentences or less. I deleted almost one hundred articles tonight and I have to ask everyone: where are we going here?
</p><p>This is a Cartoon Network Wiki, but are we going to devote this Wiki to every single show that has aired on Cartoon Network, plus their characters, episodes, items, locations, voice actors, etc. or are we going to deal with the basics, such as a page for the show, the characters and episodes?
</p><p>This Wiki has been in this state for almost a decade now. Other communities are growing and doing well, with a more in-depth focus on certain series. I feel like this Wiki's purpose should be to give an overview on the series, list all the episodes on one page and link all the major characters on one page. If viewers would like to read more about the series or find out more information, we should have a template to link them to that Wiki.
</p><p>Another issue is the group we are targeting. Are we targeting just the United States or international Cartoon Networks as well? I say this because we also have communities in other languages, located on the bottom of the front page. We have about 50 Thomas the Tank Engine pages as well, which is kinda pointless when we have a UK CN Wiki and the show never aired in the States. Should we have pages for every single show that has aired internationally on here or are we better off making a page for <i>Cartoon Network (United Kingdom)</i> and listing the series and some background on the international network?
</p><p>I'm not sure about you guys, but the way it has been is not working. Some series like Ben 10 have an excess of information, even down to characters that appeared for a few minutes in one episode, while we are falling behind on more recent series. I feel like this Wiki can benefit from more rich, quality articles focused on what is essential for each show, rather than giving small blurbs. The small blurbs should be on a Wiki devoted to the show.
</p><p>My point is: we have a lot of clutter. We have a lot of articles cut and paste from other Wikis as well. We need to cut down on that and clean this Wiki up. My proposal is to have: a page for the series, the characters and the episodes, but I'm willing to listen to your ideas as well. Your thoughts?

<p>I agree with you one hundred percent. Compared to the PPG wiki, the Dexter's Lab wiki looks like a ghost town. Obviously the hype over the 2016 series is bringing people to the PPG wiki, while Dexter's Lab has never really gotten that much attention since the whole Rude Removal episode leak. </p>
As far as I'm concerned, CN Wiki should develop articles about everything from each show. Why? It makes wiki more popular and attractive for any person who really enjoys particular cartoon. </p><p>I'm not pretty much active here but I'm experienced user, well, for logos and backgrounds and ocassionally editing pages whenever needed. I'll tell you guys that I <i>tried</i> fixing this wiki for its own good but I gradually lost my interest since most of the articles here came from numerous wikis. Heck, I didn't even know when and where to start cleaning up these articles and they keep coming, especially with the shows like Steven Universe, PPG 2016, etc.
</p><p>As for the background, we should have a theme or something. You guys also can provide images if you have any ideas.

<p>Check out Polish Cartoon Network Wiki and feel free to use backgrounds for each show that have been already used there, like Long Live the Royals, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc. I absolutely think it would be a wonderful idea. Besides, that's what we got on official Cartoon Network pages, show sections had another unique background.

<p>I've explained what's good: these wikis are or become DEAD. Just look for instance at Adventure Time Wiki, which used to be one of the most popular wikis, and now it isn't. Look at Steven Universe Wiki, which is so popular right now, and it will become dead in 5 years or so. Look at Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Wiki, which is dead right now and there are so many things to do, like adding chat, changing background, reorganisation of categories and more. I love FHFIF but I literally don't feel like doing anything there because there are no any other people. What's the point in making a wiki solo? Shouldn't we create a community and raise a fandom?
</p><p>We should HOLD TOGETHER and unite content about our favourite shows to keep fans. I love many CN cartoons and I can't imagine myself editing (for instance) The Cramp Twins Wiki, The Powerpuff Girls Wiki, Dex's Lab Wiki, EEnE Wiki, Tom & Jerry Wiki in tandem. Also, ALONE, because The Cramp Twins doesn't have such a large fanbase. Would you like to do the same? Would it be entertaining? I don't think so.
</p><p>Especially, draw attention to the fact that CN DOES create a universe for all the shows, which is proven by FusionFall, Cartoon Network Invaded or CN City.

<p>I have this idea with the articles. I just formulated a format in my mind for each series (1990s-2010s) and it'll look like the main page. With that said, I'm not really saying <i>the </i>main page but if we are talking about the format here , it contains the following:
</p>
- The Main Wiki
- Characters
- Episodes
- Possibly:
- Polls
- A series of galleries
- Others

<p>I'm in favor of that idea, minus the polls. I also think a production section will be a important, as it will contain information such as reasons behind the show's cancellation.

<p>Another admin here, I agree that we could remove a lot of the character and episode pages which are, for the most part, copy and pasted from other wikis anyway. I also agree that this wiki should focus more on things that could only be on this site, like programming blocks, schedules, etc.
