Nickelodeon's evolving programs strategy catered towards older kids and teens it primarily aired on BBC too before it aired on Nickelodeon part of a crowded landscape mio mao air during the time when Saturday morning Nickelodeon shows and Nicktoons we're building especially on Nicktoons and the show might have been overshadowed for a more successful and established shows no lasting cultural phenomenon while the show had a fan base it didn't receive the same level of widespread cultural impact or iconic status of its contemporaries early airing slot the show often aired early in the Saturday morning cartoon block meaning you were kids main not have been awake and watching and tuning in and it could have been airing on adult swim lack of a Pedigree unlikely shows based on established characters mio mao wasn't promoted highly as some other Nickelodeon contemporaries other shows may have been vying for viewers attention and Nickelodeon had ended its run due to poor performance featuring characters who are relatively unknown that was ever broadcast on the network dated references the show included a lot of deted pop culture references and guess up here that wouldn't resonate with viewers today while premiered on Nickelodeon the show may have fell out of Nickelodeon's programming schedule or probably paneered when stations weren't running making it have a brief run and probably premiered when other Nickelodeon shows have prominence and gained popularity due to their appeal and mio mao didn't fit this demographic or close to having the same appeal during this time while mio mao had a dedicated run on Nickelodeon in the '90s and early 2000s it might not be as widely remembered today as older cartoons from that era lots in the shuffle the 90s were a boom time for animated shows especially on Nickelodeon leaning to a crowded landscape mio mao might have been overlooked among more prominent titles and often ran too BBC 2 and bbc2 duck during this run and debuted when the network had more popular cartoons and have future success among the audiences who were tuning in and was being broadcast on other networking stations like MTV and G4 and YTV to this other networks were probably airing the show or was overshadowed by more established titles further contributing to its diminished sneak peek however it later aired reruns on Nicktoons from 2014 to 2016 for a afternoon sloth which could have fell in time and could have been late in the Nickelodeon market since Nickelodeon's kids choice awards during that time in conclusion a combination of low ratings shifting audience preferences or was late to the Nickelodeon market or premiered when stations were running further contributing to its obscurity in programming on other networks further contributing to its overall lack awareness on the network and lack of Nickelodeon advertising and the show's broadcasting on Nickelodeon might have been inconsistent due to its relative nature and Nickelodeon had more popular shows airing around the same time
